Beer Review, imperial stout

Yellow Belly by Omnipollo

Yellow Belly ABV 11 – Imperial Stout

Appearance: Dark brown almost black slightly tan head

Smell: Chocolate graham cracker with peanut butter

Taste: Oh god the taste is mf smooth. Taste like I’m biting into one of those peanut butter crackers you dip in chocolate. Just like it smells.

Mouthfeel: Thick and heavy. Stays on the palette

Overall: I’m in love and ready to get married.

The packaging on this beer weirds people out so much that when I purchased it, the cashier hid the beer in the bottom of my bag under my other beers.  The Yellow Belly package makes the beer appear to have a white robe and hood.  The bottle explains the definition of a yellow belly and actually represents progress by saying “This beer is brewed to celebrate all things new, open minded and progressive. (Omnipollo, 2018)”  So, not only is this beer yummy af, it has a great message.
