Beer Review, Double IPA

The Calling by Boulevard

Boulevard The Calling

Double IPA 8.5%

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

Appearance: Bit hazy amber orange with a white head that looks nice but doesn’t hold for long.

Smell: Hoppy, tropical fruit, grapefruit, and pine.

Taste: Hoppy, grapefruit, lemon, mixed with some other tropical fruits like pineapple. Citrus hops at first and bitter on the end. Doesn’t have a lot of the malty taste like most DIPA. Slightly sweet maltiness but the bitterness balances it out.

Mouthfeel: Medium to high carbonated with lightish body.

**I use ish a lot….its helpful for a person like me that can’t make a clear decision.
