Coffee & Cakes

Coffee and Cakes by Hubbard’s Cave

12.5% Imperial Stout

Appearance: Pours blackish brown like coffee but you can see that it’s thick. Head holds decent and it’s a dark khaki color.

Smell: Maple syrup, boozy with a pleasant coffee aroma.

Taste: Sweet, maple, vanilla, malt, and cocoa. Big part of the coffee is the after taste not like the stank breath coffee taste but like the first sip.

Mouthfeel: This was a sticky mf beer with a thick body and just enough carbonation. People complained about this beer being too much to handle but some of us are use to big things.giphy
